Publishing statuses
Understand each publishing status and take the safe next action when a result needs attention.
Beacon shows a result for each channel. One post can have different results across its channels.
Normal statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Beacon saved the post without a scheduled time. |
| Scheduled | Beacon will try to publish at the selected time. |
| Publishing | Beacon started publishing the post. |
| Published | The platform confirmed the post. |
A successful result can include View live post. Use that link to open the post on its platform.
Statuses that need attention
| Status | Safe next action |
|---|---|
| Reconnect | Reconnect the affected channel. |
| Trying again | Wait until the shown time before another check. |
| Some parts missing | Open the post and review each part. |
| Publish time missed | Open the post and choose a new action. |
| Not published | Read the platform message and correct the problem. |
| Check result | Check the platform before you try to publish again. |
Check result means Beacon cannot confirm whether the post is live. Do not send the same post again until you check it on the platform.
