Get started

Use this guide to create an account, create a workspace, and prepare your first post.

Create your account

1. Open Beacon.
2. Select Create account.
3. Enter Your name, Email address, and Password.
4. Select Create account.
5. Verify your email if Beacon requests verification.

Create a workspace

A workspace keeps one brand's posts, channels, members, and settings together.

1. Enter a Workspace name.
2. Select Create workspace.

Beacon opens Dayboard after it creates the workspace.

Connect a channel

1. Open Channels.
2. Select Add an account.
3. Choose a platform.
4. Sign in to the platform and allow the access Beacon requests.
5. Confirm that the account appears under Ready to publish.

A connected account can appear under Draft only. That account cannot publish directly yet.

Prepare your first post

1. Open Compose.
2. Choose one or more Destinations.
3. Enter the Post copy.
4. Select Draft.
5. Select Save draft.

Beacon saves the post without scheduling or publishing it.
