TypeScript SDK release notes
Review package changes and the Agent API contract that each Beacon SDK release supports.

Release note requirements
Each published SDK release note identifies these items:
- Package version and release date
- Supported Agent API major version
- Immutable source revision for the public OpenAPI contract
- Added, changed, deprecated, and removed SDK behavior
- Required migration steps
A package version does not change the Agent API version. The SDK and Agent API follow separate compatibility policies.
Current source — 2026-09-05
The current package manifest version is 0.1.0. The current source supports Agent API v1.
The stable client includes identity, channel, calendar, post, media, webhook verification, and selected AI methods.
Post methods include list, detail, side-effect-free checks, create, edit, reschedule, cancel, and failed-only retry.
Media methods include list, detail, image content, and validated upload. experimental.media remains as a deprecated compatibility alias.
The package exports typed publication lifecycle webhook events and verifyBeaconWebhookSignature.
GET retries are optional. The SDK never retries a write request.
Channel results now include optional maxCharacters and xSubscriptionType fields. A channel's publishing value can be plan_required when X needs Starter or a higher plan. Long X generation uses the connected channel ID as the destination id. The server verifies account eligibility before generation and again before long-post delivery. This source update does not claim a published package release.
The package excludes test files and TypeScript build metadata from its tarball. Runtime dependencies remain empty.
