# Reviews

Request a review, discuss a post, approve its content, or request changes before it goes live.

A review lets your team approve a post before Beacon publishes it.

## Request a review

1. Open the post.
2. Select **Request review**.
3. Choose the required **Reviewers**.
4. Add an optional note.
5. Select **Request review**.

Beacon keeps the reviewed content unchanged during the decision.

## Find review work

Open **Reviews**. Use these views:

- **Needs my review**
- **Requested by me**
- **Changes needed**
- **Approved**
- **All**

## Complete a review

1. Open a review.
2. Read the **Post under review**.
3. Check the preview for each channel.
4. Add a **Note for the team** when necessary.
5. Select **Approve content** or **Request changes**.

Use **Edit current post** when the content must change. A content edit requires a new approval.
